For 2008-2014 WRX models, the unit demonstrates measurable improvementsreducing outlet temperatures by 12F on average with 10% better cooling efficiency. However, some owners question the value proposition, noting that stock intercoolers already perform well with intake temps only 10 degrees above ambient under boost.
